About

An atelier, not an agency floor.

BrandBoost Co is a small brand systems and identity atelier working out of a converted warehouse office on East Cordova Street, in Railtown-Strathcona, Vancouver. We keep the roster short on purpose — every brand system that leaves this building has been through the same hands.

Why East Cordova.

Railtown-Strathcona sits between shipping containers and coffee roasters, a few blocks from Vancouver's downtown core but with none of its polish. It is a fitting neighbourhood for a brand atelier that treats identity work like a trade rather than a performance — we build specimens the way a print shop builds proofs, not the way a stage act builds a pitch deck.

Being based here also keeps us close to the kind of Canadian companies we work with most: BC scale-ups, retailers with a Vancouver flagship, and B2B firms who need a brand system that survives contact with a real sales team, not just a boardroom demo.

How We Think

Boost means clarity, not noise.

The word "boost" gets used to sell a lot of things we don't do. We use it in one specific sense: a brand system that boosts how clearly a company is understood, not how many followers it appears to have.

We are not a wellness brand, a life-coaching practice, or a shop that sells engagement numbers. We do not run ad accounts or manage social calendars. What we do is narrower and, we think, more durable: a positioning study, a verbal identity guide, a visual mark system, and the brand governance to keep all three aligned after we leave the room.

That narrowness is deliberate. A brand system built properly outlives any single campaign. It is the thing every future campaign, hire and agency has to check against — which means getting it right once matters more than producing a lot of content quickly.

Method & Ethics

Where AI fits, and where it stops.

We use AI tools the way a research assistant would be used — to compress reading, not to make decisions.

01

Research is AI-assisted

Competitor scans, category-language patterns and audience research move faster with AI tools doing the first pass. That first pass is always checked, trimmed and corrected by a strategist before it enters a positioning study.

02

Judgment stays human

No AI tool signs off on a positioning claim, a brand voice decision, or a visual mark. Every specimen in the board has been reviewed, argued about and approved by a person who can explain why it works.

03

The specimen board is the deliverable

We do not hand over a mood board and disappear. Every engagement ends with a governed specimen board — documented, dated, and built so a new hire can apply it correctly without asking us first.
